2022 brought about a great deal of change and opportunities. The Library Foundation's focus has shifted to supporting the Library's expansion project with a capital campaign, but our dedication remains on making the library the best it can be.
This year we are excited to announce the opportunity to double your gift! A generous donor has offered to match up to $15,000 for the year end appeal which will focus on a discussion room in the new space. Since reopening from the impacts of Covid, these study and discussion rooms have been in high demand. Used by those working from home or a mix of home and office are using the updated spaces for work (hybrid meeting access), students are collaborating on projects or getting tutoring, occasionally some are receiving healthcare access, some meet for language lessons, some receive financial education, some meet for small group therapy and support groups, and some come for local resource connections – what happens in this space is life-enhancing, life-changing, life-saving.
We are continually grateful to live in this vibrant community which supports its local library.
