Book'n It Run for Literacy

Saturday, August 1st, 2020

Book’n It Run for Literacy is an all-ages event that is held annually on the first Saturday in August at Sheehan Park in Sun Prairie. This fun, family-friendly event consists of four different runs and a walk for all ages and abilities.

This event is one of the key fundraisers hosted by the Sun Prairie Public Library Foundation, which supports services you may recognize in the community--such as the digital book collection, the Dream Bus, and many other learning tools for all ages.

2019's Book’n It Run had more than 400 runners and walkers and broke Foundation records, by raising over $30,000 through corporate sponsorships, donations, and registration fees!

Book’n It Run continues to exceed expectations each year, with increased community involvement, sponsor support, and in turn, services the Foundation can support. We could not do it without the support of numerous sponsors, volunteers, and community members who see the value in supporting the Sun Prairie Public Library.

Be sure to tell your family and friends about Book’n It Run! It is a great way to get some exercise, enjoy some time together, and help support Sun Prairie’s library.

Don’t feel like running in an event? We need more than 100 volunteers to make this event a success. Learn more about how you can get involved!
